Over 180 million people reside here making it the 6th most populous country of the world. According to Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), Pakistan has one of the lowest literacy rates in the world. The literacy rate at 55 per cent and Pakistan stands at 160th in total countries of the world. Gender disparities are apparent when male literacy is around 70%. HELP provides opportunities for both genders and children to gain an education or to get skilled training qualifying them for better jobs and hence a better future. Education and skill not only liberate women but also give them them a chance to become earning members of the family and together build a better future as a working family. Women are educated in how to manage small businesses and enterpreneurship skills. They learn crafts and how to sell them. HELP has also provided schooling to children and other educational opportunities to adults.
